Welcome to the Creative Arts for Home and Hobby (CAHH) website, I am Barbara Thomas, the Director for CAHH, located in the Richards Building on the fairgrounds. We have updated our website for the 2024 New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show. Look around and see what you want to enter, fill out the forms and mail them in to our PO Box in Augusta, NJ. Please remember to read our General Rules, which contain all the information you will need for each contest. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or 973-534-0536.
Starting times of the Fair have made a few changes. The Fair opens on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 5 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. On Saturday, August 3, 2024, Sunday August 4, 2024 and Saturday, August 10, 2024, the Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Weekday opening of the Fair (Monday, August 5, 2024 through Friday, August 9, 2024) will be 12 noon to 10 p.m. We have adjusted the times for take-in for Baking and for Cupcake Decorating Contest for Kids, so please check the times for each contest.
We have a new event, a Make and Take event on Sunday, August 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and see what crafty items you can make and take with you. No charge for this event.
